PartnershipsThe Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation believes that more will be accomplished if like minded individuals and organizations work together to spread the message of skin cancer prevention and early detection:
Patient Support For those living with cancer, support can be vital in the healing process. There are a number of organizations across Canada that offer support for patients and families with information on treatment options, online chat forums or monthly meetings and, in some cases, financial assistance. The Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation partners with these organizations in a number of initiatives and provides links to their websites in recognition of the wonderful work they do in supporting those living with skin cancer. Education
The Foundation also partners with other educators to create awareness and develop curriculum around skin cancer prevention and early detection. Melanoma: What you need to know - Created by the Melanoma Network of Canada, the purpose of this booklet is to help people newly diagnosed with melanoma to learn about this skin cancer and how it is treated.
